AI Agents Drive $615B Forecast for Blockchain Gaming by 2030

Blockchain gaming revenue is projected to reach $614.9 billion by 2030, fueled by AI agents now managing wallets, executing trades, and even participating in on-chain poker. The global market, valued at $128.62 billion in 2022, is gaining momentum but remains largely confined to Web3 enthusiasts. Over 40% of Web3 gamers dedicate more than 10 hours weekly to these platforms, while traditional gamers continue favoring mainstream titles.

Max Giammario, CEO of AI-focused Kindred, observes a shift: AI is transitioning from backend infrastructure to an active participant in on-chain gaming ecosystems. "The technology is no longer just a tool—it’s becoming a player," he notes. This evolution could bridge the gap between crypto-native and conventional gaming audiences.
